October Fest @ Your Library

10:00-10:20 a.m. Tuesday mornings in October. "Storytime" for 12 to 23 month-olds and their caregivers. Please register.
10:00-10:30 a.m. Wednesday mornings in October. "Storytime" for 3-5 year-olds. Please register.
  • 7:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evenings in October. "Family Storytime" for 3-6 year-olds and their caregivers. No registration.

7:00 p.m. Wed. Oct. 11 "Craft Night for Grownups" with Brenda. Save some ordinary coffee and juice cans, and turn them into decorative holiday containers. Please register.

7:00 p.m. Mon. Oct. 16 "A Walk in the Woods with Jane Bullis, Naturalist". For members of Friends of Library. Not a member? Join the Friends for as little as $10 a year ($5 seniors and students). Please register.

6:00 p.m. Tues. Oct. 17 "Meet Jordan Sonnenblick". Author visit and book signing. Celebrate the publication of this Phillipsburg Middle School teacher's second novel for teens.

3:00 p.m., repeated at 7:00 p.m, Wed. Oct. 18. "How to Sell on Ebay" presented by US Postal Service and Ebay experts. Please register.

6:00 p.m. Thurs. Oct. 19. "Paradise Now", the story of two unlikely friends who team up for peace. Film screening and discussion. No registration needed.

7:00 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23. "Ghosts at our Doorstep" with author Gordon Ward. What are ghosts? Are there really ghosts in New Jersey? This program is not suitable for young children. Please register.

6:00 p.m. Tues. Oct. 24. "Halloween Stories" for 3-6 year-olds. No need to register, just drop in--costumes optional.

7:00 p.m. Wed. Oct. 25. "Brave New World". You are invited to come and discuss the book. Extra copies are available to borrow. Registration is not needed.

7:00 p.m. Thurs. Oct. 26. "Ancestry.com and Heritage Quest" with Deb. Learn to use these fantastic genealogy resources to discover more than you may have thought possible. These are ordinarily very costly services, but free for you to use through the library's account. Please register.

2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Sat. Oct. 28. "Teen Scene Halloween" party. Prizes for costumes, food, games.
